Each year the Utah Congress of PTA scholarship committee has of the responsibility allocating sums to make many $200 scholarships available to student qualifying for them. Last year 80 such scholarships were made to future teachers throughout the state. Each region receives the number of scholarships dictated by the amount of money they have dona-te- r to the state scholarship fund. All money donated in the local area returns in the form of schol- - local students, Thei money is raised either from a 10 cent levy on each member of the PTA or from a special fund m each local PTA groups treasury.
