The tiny Miss is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. F. Carpenter Jr., 430 South First East, and will be awarded a bevy of prizes offered by Brigham City merchants to the "first arrival" of 1961 . Her impromptu arrival also nosed out the chances for another mother, who had entered the hospital Sunday afternoon, to win the prizes. Weighing in at only five pounds, the little miss was immediately placed in an incubator and was declared unavailable for pictures when a photographer went to the hospital Monday noon.
