Duck flies over decoys . . . 6:50 a.m, I raise up to shoot and fall on knees in mud . . . shoot anyway and hit it. 6:51 a.m. Pat myself on the back while dog retrieves wounded duck . . . CUSTOM TV with ' the Utah Division, Thiokol Chemical Corporation, will be the principal speaker at the Oct. 15 dinner meeting of the Intermoun-taiTechnical Publications association (ITPA). The meeting will be held at Mas and Pas restaurant in Roy at 7 p. m. Wilhite-- , one of Ameiicas foremost authorities cn solid-fupropellants and rocket engines, will speak on the industrial growth of northern Utah and the influence Thiokol is making in the rocketry field. Arthur S. Dlott, supervisor of the reports section at the Utah Division, will share the speakers platform with Wilhite. Dlott will give a special presentation on the operational philosophy of the publications section at Thiokol. All ITPA members and their guests are invited to attend the first meeting of the fall season, according to John D. Burnett, Thiokol Chmeical Corporation, association president. The association is composed of technical reporting people from industrial and governmental organizations throughout Utah. Wilhite, a former Air Force combat and test pilot, has an extremely important role in America's space race as technical director at the Utah Division. Wilhite joined Thiokol as project engineer at the Redstone Division, Huntsville, Ala., in 1950 and assumed his position at the Utah Division in Brigham City in 1957.
