Board President D G Nelson Jr made this statement concerning Dr. en-'e- Christiansens resignation-I- t was with great regret Fri-- d ly night that the board accepted the resignation of Dr Leon F Christiansen It came to us as a great surprise Dr Christiansen was recommended foi his new position by Utah State university as one of the men who would fill the bill Since that time he was interviewed and this week was notified that the post was open for him at considerably more money than he was making in Box Elder district with very at- tractive accriments The bourd felt that we had something in Dr Christiansen that was exteremely good, and hoped that he would stay with us for a long time Much of the success enjoyed by the board can be attributed to Dr Christiansen It is also the feeling of the board that we shouldnt stand in his way.
