Honored were Nedra Petersen and Elaine Rasmussen, who were rated superior in one round. Leland Ray Ilun.saker was the faculty member accompanying the readers. More than 400 students from 16 high schools and five colleges and universities read poems in the largest festival to dale. In addition, 108 high school students submitted 401 poems for judging in the creative writing section of the festival. Theme of this years festival was "The Sonnet. Class B funds are sent to interpolated counties, and Class C monies are allocated to incorporated cities and towns. A total ojt $154,522 92 has been allocated to Box Elder - county and the cities and tow'ns within the county. According to County Clerk K. B. Olsen, of the total allocation,-thcounty will receive $111,699 38 which is approximately one thousand dollars more than last year and two to three thousand dollars less than the highest amount ever received by the county.
