Show Reunion Planned Couple Bailies; Husband Jailed, ; An Ogden couple reportedly became involved in a frenzied battle while driving between Brigham City and Ogden early Sunday morning and caused untold excitement for a Perry family when the Ogden woman sought refuge at their home. The Jay Waters family was awakened at 3 a. m. by a honking horn and screams for assistance from a frightened woman, according to Trooper Leonard Jeppsen, who was called to the Waters home on the report that the Ogden man was threatening his wifes life. that Trooper Jeppsen said George Theodore Larsen and his wife, who reside at 598 Chester street, Ogden, began arguing and fighting in the car. Mrs. Larsen grabbed the keys from the car, and as it slowed down, she jumped from the car and ran screaming into the Waters home. Mrs. Larsen was suffering from lacerations on her forehead and neck and a black eye, Jeppsen said. At the time Jeppsen arrived on the scene, Waters was attempting to hold Larsen under control outside of the house, where Mrs. Larsen was seeking refuge. Larsen was taken to the Box Elder county jail where he was being held on a charge of drunken driving. He was released on $300 bail Sunday afternoon. ' Mrs. Larsen was cited for public intoxication, Jeppsen said. Thomas and Emma Jean Macdonald First Raised, Intermountain school, girl, July 13. R.
