The Fifth ward is now located in the area from Fourth South and Main to Sixth South, then west to Fourth West, then north to Fifth Sputh, then west to the city limits, then north to Fourth South, and east to Main street. This ward includes homes west of Brigham City which formerly belonged to the Fifth ward, known as Jensenville. There are 518 members in the Fifth ward. The new Tenth ward is located in the extreme southwest part of town. Its northern boundary begins at Sixth South, running west to Fourth West, then north to Fifth South, and west to the city limits. Mdin street forms the eastern boundary and the Perry-BrighaCity line forms the southern boundary. The new ward has a membership ol 424 persons. These new wards are the first new wards to be formed in Brigham City since the Eighth ward was set up in North Box Elder stake in January, 1946, when the old Fourth ward was divided. The influx in population in Brigham City during recent years necessitated 'the change, along with the prospects of a still greater increase in our population, President Bennioh said. However, it can be prevented by vaccination. Two inoculations are often required for immunity the first one generaly when lambs are one to three weeks old, and the timing of the second one is best determined by the veterinarian, based on local conditions and other factors. If sore mouth does occur, healthy sheep should be promptly removed from the infected ones, because of the ease with which the disease is spread. Care is necfessary in handling affected animal since man can become infected, Dr. Thomas warns. Stanley K. Bramwell and daughters, Kathy and Shanna, of Harlingen, Texas, have been visiting relatives and friends in Brigham City and Salt Lake City. Lt. Bramwell is a pilot and assistant operations officer in the U. S. Air Force. He is serving as LDS Branch president at Rio Grande Valley Branch. Wright, son bf Mr,, and Mrs. Eugene Wright, West Corinne, was active in student affairs and athletics while attending school here. He was a member of championship football team and won an excellence rating for extemporaneous speaking in the state meet. He was senior class representative and drum major with the school band. Other activities included membership in Athenian and Lettermens club and participation in the annual circus. He also took the lead role in the senior play. The scholarship was awarded on the basis of school activities and academic standing.
