Watkins entertained Sunday afternoon, Dec. 22, between the hours of two and six oclock, for their daughter, Mrs. Robert L. (An na Watkins) Owens, Fresno, Calif. Many former friends of Mrs. Owens called dufing the afternoon to renew acquaintances and enjoy refreshments. Mrs. Owens and her two children, Richard and Laurel, are visiting in Brigham City during Christmas week. They plan to visit with the Watkins family and also with Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Owens, before returning to their home in Fresno. D. CHRISTMAS JOY Soroptimists Have Festive Holiday Party A festive holiday party was held by Soroptimists International of Brigham City last Thursday evening, Dec. 19. Dinner was served at the Idle Isle followed by party fun at the home of Miss Lenore Romer. Directors were in charge of arrangements with Miss Rilla Jensen as chairmen. During the evening, secret sisters were revealed for the past ! year. White elephant bingo games were played with all proceeds going towards food and gifts for the Christmas family.
