Call and Mrs. Helen Peirce, ' committee chairman. Following the assembly, where I school policies will be presen- ted by Principal Call, the par I ents will , attend , the - regular , schedule of classes of their son f or daughter. Each of the six I classes will convene for 20 min. recess utes, .with a between, classes. . Following roll call in each of the- - classes, the teachers will state the objectives and procedures of the class, followed by discussion. Parents may arconferrange for individual 1 ences to be scheduledfrom 4 p. m. of the same day. p. m.-tRegular school lunch will be served to the parents in the cafeteria at 12 noon, at a cost of 25 cents each, or the parent may use a student's lunch card. Parents are reminded to bring with them the schedule of classes for their boy or girl. Parents of bus students may ride the bus to school and back if they so desire. Other years there have been two. The parents will meet in the first hour class at 9 a. m ; second hour at 9:30, and then go to the auditorium at 10 a. m. for an assembly in which Principal Payne will conduct a discussion on the general policies of the school. Third hour will begin at 11 oclock; fourth at 11:30; fifth at 12 noon, and sixth at 12:30. From 12:50 to 1:30 parents and teachers will enjoy dents lunch together in the cafeteria at a cost of 25 cents each. Refreshments will be served in the halls between classes by the Future Home Makers club. The BEtte will act as receptionists to help the parents about. During the 20 minute class periods, the teachers will - exsysplain their aims, marking tems, and procedures. The ten minute period between classes will give the parents the opportunity to make appointments with the teachers for personal interviews concerning their students. As a result of the roll calls made in the classes, a record will be made of the number of parents attending for each advisory class. All classes are anxious to be first in attendance. Legion Slates Second Anniversary Conference at SetSunday for GOC Salt Lake City J. Addington Wagner, past National Commander of ' the American Legion, will represent the national organization at the Utah Departments midyear conference scheduled for Saturday,- Dec. 7, at Holladay Post in Salt' Lake City. Past Commander Wagner will be the speaker at the annual banquet meeting at 7:30 p m. Saturday and will appear briefly as a speaker at the conference sessions during the afternoon. His last appearance in Utah was during his term as national commander, when he addressed the department convention in Brigham City two years ago. Agenda for the meetings includes reports and program outlines from all Department of Utah, commissions and committees, starting at 9:30 a.m. with all sessions to be held at Holla-da- y Post 71, located at 670 East 3300 South in Salt Lake City. Grover Reese Harper, Corinne was singled out for the honor Saturday and was presented plaque by the FFA. He was pre sented also a citation of achievement which listed the numerous qualifications leading to his win ning the award. Harper, president of the Box Elder Dairy Association for the past six years, was cited for his cooperation in promoting efficient farming practices and for the work he has done with the youth of his community. He was commended for the progressive manner in which he has operated his own farm, west of Corinne. A member of the Holstein Breeders Association since 1948, Harper has been a leading member of the Cache Valley Breeders Association also and was inin organizing the strumental Bear River Valley Co-oHe also aided in promoting the West Corinne water project and serves as a state director of the Utah Cooperative Association. Harper and his wife, Eva, have four children, including two sons who have been active in FFA work in the Box Elder chapter.
