Olsen planned to celebrate his 85th birthday, we took a trip to the barn behind his home at 425 North Third West Mr. Olsen looked up from feeding his milk cows Jong several express enough to thoughts on his philosophy of life. When asked what he attributed his longevity to he was quick in his response. He feels that people must be needed, participate in something useful each day and be tired when night comes. He says he isnt brave or ambitious while carrying for his five cows each night and morning in spite of his advanced years. It is his method of keeping alive and healthy. Cows dont wait and their needs must be fulfilled. By night Mr Olsen is tired and ready for bed after busy days caring for his livestock, keeping his own house and preparing his own Marenus B. Olsen will begin ZEST FOR LIFE AT 85 the 85th anniversary of his birth the same way he has been 'beginning most days for the past 70 years, feeding and milking cows. Mr. and Mrs. Meservys marriage was solemnized In the Logan LDS temple In 1907. Mr. Meservy was born Feb. 18, 1884, the son of Joseph Robert and Mary Kingsbury Meservy at Hooper, Utah. Mrs. Meservy was born Sarah Ann Bagley, the daughter of Emanuel and Mary Isabell Pope Bagley, Nov. 25, 1885, at Basin (Oakley), Idaho.
