Show r Awards Banquet Will Close Golf Season The ladies auxiliary to Brigham City Golf and Country club will close a successful season with their annual awards banquet to be held Monday evening, Oct. 14, at 8 p. m. at Maddox Ranch house. Christiansen joined in marriage Miss Deanne Gardner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Gardner, Logan, and Allen Leron Johnsen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Austin L. Johnsen, Bear River City. A wedding breakfast was set for 14 at Harmons Cafe in Salt Lake City by the parents of the groom. The brides parents were hosts at a reception in the Student Union building on Utah State campus to which friends in Cache Valley were invited. Saturday evening, Aug. 23, parents of the groom entertained at dance and reception honwith newlyweds oring the friends and relatives in Box Elder county, Ogden, Salt Lake City and Afton, Wyo., attending. The lovely bride wore a Cahill original own of lustrous satin. The floor length princess line dress was completed with an embroidered lace yoke and long sleeves. Her fingertip veil was attached to a lace cap and she carried a bouquet of white orchid and stephanotis. Miss Roselena Robinton was maid of honor in a frock of geranium pink taffeta with matchhat. Mrs. ing Marva Lou Heiner, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were other sisters of the bride, Misses Wynlee Sue and Greer Gardner, and Miss Gaynell Johnsen, sister of the groom and Mrs. Luana Larsen. They all wore taffeta gowns of alternating shades of olive green and pale green and more hats matching and carried bouquets of yellow and bronze asters. All was in keeping with the yellow and olive green color scheme arranged at the reception. Replicas of the Alpha Chi and Sigma Chi sorority and fraternity pins joined by a chain was outstanding as the top layer decoration. The cake was displayed upon, a small table covered with a handmade lace cloth with tall white tapering candles on either side.
