WLatle It was a busy week for 16 little square dancers from On Monday evening they were finalists at the Farm Bureau elemination contest at Bear River City, and on Wednesday evening they were given second place honors at the Talent Show at the Bear River High school. Thursday evening they were on the program at the Seventh ward birthday dinner. Those in the group are Bobby Orme, Gerlyn Chlarson, William Wintle. Sharon Rasmussen, Carl Hunsaker, Wlnnifred Hill, Rex Chlarson and Gay Coombs. The younger group are Susan Orme, Melvin Hawkes, Christine RhodChrises, Doyle Chamberlain, tine Hunsaker, Allan Chlarson and Christine Larsen and Ted Chlarson. This group of boys and girls looked very nice in their red and white costumes with their red and black scarfs around their necks. The girls all had pony tails with bows to match their dresses. Miss Marilee Packer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Packer, of Brigham City, was Thursday afternoon guest at the home of Rosemary and Rosemarie Wintie, twin daughters of Mr. and Mrs. DeVere Wintle. Mr. and Mrs. Morrell Hunsaker and children of jHoneyville spent a few days this week vacationing in Yellowstone park. They returned home Saturday evening. Miss Judy Johnsons piano students are busy working on a recital to be held the end of this week. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Lasky and daughter, Arlene, of Wood-bridgat N. J., were guests the home of Mr. and Mrs. Oral Hunsaker this past week. Also visiting at the Hunsaker home this week are their son, Cpl. Travis Hunsaker and his wife who are on a five day furlough from the army. They are stationed at Fort Huachuca, Ariz. He has one and a half more years to serve in the army. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Gardner held open house at the home of Mr. Gardners parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Gardner, Sunday afternoon in Honeyville, for their friends and relatives who could not attend their wedding. They were married in the Idaho Falls temple on Aug. 16 and their wedding reception was held In the Star Valley stake house the same evening at Star Valley, Wyo. Mrs. Gardner was the former Janice Burton. The young people will make their home in Salt Lake City where Mr. Gardner is attending school. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ellis and children of Akmer, Idaho, are spending this week visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Ellis of Honeyville. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Wilson and children visited in Ogden on 4-- 4-- Monday. Mr. and Mrs. William Ellis and daughter, Mary Elizabeth, visited in Pleasant View with Mrs. Ellis sister, Mrs. Eva Tucker, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Alva Doney of Salt Lake City, visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bin Tolman Sunday. Rickey Hunsaker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oral Hunsaker of Honeyville, fell from a load of straw Monday on his fathers farm and received a bad cut on his left arm. He was taken to the Cooley hospital in .Brigham City for treatment. He returned home Monday afternoon and at this time is feeling better. Mrs. Bin Tolman spent Thursday in Ogden visiting at the home of her daughter and Mr. and Mrs. John Mills and family. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Ahlmar and family and Mr. and Mrs. Spencer. Ahlmar and family and Gus Ahlmar, all of Ogden, and Mr. and Mrs. Max Hunsaker and family of Willard, were all dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Hunsaker on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Nielson of Salt Lake City spent Sunday visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Theo Hunsaker. .Mrs. Hunsaker and Mrs. Nielson are sisters. Mr. and Mrs. John Cook of Los Angeles, Calif., visited at the homes of Mrs. Cooks brothers, Rod and Lamont Wheatley and families; her sister and brother-in-law- , Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Maero and family, Saturday and Sunday, and they were dinner guests at the home of another brother, Milton, and family, Monday. Mrs. Cook Witt be remembered as Ann Wheatley of Honeyville. This is her first visit to Honeyville in seven years. Also visiting at the Mr. and Mrs. Lamont Wheatley home Sunday was another sister, Mrs. Harold Lowe of Franklin, Idaho. Tom D. Valdez attended a safety council meeting held annually in Salt Lake City at the Union Pacific depot, Aug. 17. The same evening a buffet dinner was served to all the foremen and the supervisors and their wives at the Newhouse hotel in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Glendale Hunsaker, former residents of Honeyville, now living in Ogden, asnounce the marriage of their son, Curtis B. Hunsaker, to Miss Carma Weeks of Vernal, Uath. The young couple will recite wedding vows in the Salt Lake LDS temple on Aug. 30. A reception will be held the same evening in the Vernal First v nine-year-ol- d son-in-la- 1957 Wednesday, August-28Brigham City, Utah ward chapel. Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Hunsaker and their son, Teryl, went through the Salt Lake temple Thursday. Teryl is leaving for an LDS mission to West Germany soon. He will sail from New York harbor on Sept 20, on the SS Kmerica. His testimonial was held in the Honeyville ward chapel on Aug. 25. Friends and neighbors of Mr. and Mrs. Emery Wight, lived in Harper ward for many years, honored them at a program and social held on Friday evening in the Harper ward church house. Mr. and Mrs. Wight recently purchased a home in Honeyville where they are now living. The David Grant reunion was held at Crystal Springs in Honeyville Saturday, Aug. 24. KING COMPANY Kiwanis Members STOKE To Attend Confab The Kiwanis club of Brigham City will be represented at the 1957 convention of the Utah-Idah- o District of Kiwanis International at Sun Valley, Sept. O. Dee Lund, club president, announced this week. Hosts for the convention will be the nine Kiwanis club of DiKivision Six of the Utah-Idahwanis District . Local delegates to the convention will be O. Dee Lund, Clark M. Hillam, Dr. Roy Barnard and Frank Coppin. Delegates from 58 clubs, representing more than 3200 business and professional leaders, will participate in the various sessions. Committee conferences, a discussion of plans for the coming year, and the election of officers will highlight the convention program, Lund said.
