Show Rites in Malad, Ida. Several Brigham City and Willard folks attended funeral services for George C. Tovey, 70, at Malad, Idaho, Saturday after- Salt Lake City noon, May 11. Burrell Whitaker! 72, of 604 South First West, died Friday evening in Salt Lake City after an extended illness. She was born April 7, 1885, In Brigham City, a daughter of William E. and Elma Hillstrom Burrell.' She was reared and educated in Brigham City. In 1921 she was married to Thomas William Whitaker in Brigham City. He died in 1952. She was a member of the LDS church and had received her endowments in the , Salt Lake 4 LDS temple. Survivors include a son and a daughter: Max Junior Whitaker of Nampa, Idaho, and Mrs. Adele Bailey of Cantro Valley, Calif.; nine grandchildren; two brothers and a sister, Eugene Burrell of Los Angeles; Carl Burrell and Mrs. May Sisson of Brigham City. Funeral services were conducted Monday at 1 p. m. in the Harold B. Felt Funeral Home chapel by Bishop Walter Jaggi of the Fifth ward. was in the Brigham , Burial City cemetery. Final services were conducted in the Malad LDS Fourth ward chapel. Attending were: Mr. and Mrs. Ted Yearsley and daughters, Willard; Mr. and Mrs. Louis Reese, Mrs. Elva Reese, Ray Don Reese, Mrs. Charles A. Munns, all of Brigham City. Attending from Ogden were Mr. and Mrs. Ray Merrell and Robert Reese, former Brigham-ite- , who sang during the funeral rits.
