In the elderly lady section, the following persons received recognition: Mrs. Mina Ward of Riverside won third place on a doilie; second place on a luncheon cloth and third place on a braided rug. Mrs. Florence Penrose of Brigham City won third place on a crocheted tablecloth. Mrs. Lettie Minson of Garland won a blue ribbon for first place honors for croqueted edges on handkerchiefs. Zina Harris of Portage won first place for crocheted insertion on a luncheon cloth and napkin set; third place on a three-piec- e crocheted chair set; and second place on a hair-pilace doilie. In the open class sections, Dorothy Kerr of Tremonton won tablefirst place on a cloth and napkins set; first n .cut-wor- k place on crocheted hot pads and second place on a crocheted scarf. Ruth Holman of East Garland won a nationwide ribbon and first place honors on a crocheted chair set; first place on a crocheted centerpiece; and first place on a luncheon set with crocheted insertion. Emma Louise Carter of Park Valley took second place on crocheted bedspread. Karen Smoot of Corinne won fifth place on an applique quilt.
