O' North Stake Quarterly Conference Scheduled Saturday Eve, Sunday Special Leadership and Welfare Meetings Slated Saturday; General Sessions Sunday The regular quarterly conference for North Box Elder Stake is scheduled to be held Saturday evening and Sunday, Sept. 22 and 23. Accompanying Bishop Buehner will be Elder Paul C. Child, a representative of the General Church Welfare committee. Saturday evening a special leadership meeting will be held at 7 p. m., to be followed at 8 30 p. m. by a welfare meeting. General sessions of the conference on Sunday will commence at 10 a. m. and 2 p. m. The evening session at 7:30 p. m. will be under the direction of the North stake MIA. The Brigham City Fourth ward choir and the Honeyville ward choir will furnish music for the geneal sessions of conference on Sunday. The young people of the stake are given special invitation to attend New Police Radio Lacks FCC License; Banned From Air Box Elder countys new police radio system went into operation on Friday, Sept. 14, but was ordered to cease operation late Monday afternoon since a license had not been obtained from the Federal Communications Commission for use of the new, more powerful transmitter. Failure to apply for the license will delay the use of the radio system until proper arrangements can be made.
