Oleen Palmer was director member. Serving on the committe were Earl Sheffield, Harold Felt and Horvey Ashmead. The two attendants, mentioned above were Miss Orcella Orwin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs, W. H. Barnard and Miss Cleo Norman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. O. Norman. The Peach Queens parents were Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Clifford. Marilee Packer Feted On Seventh Birthday on train No. 10. ' All participated with more than 500 other tourists on the Vida Clawson tour. Upon their arrival In East Los Angeles they were met by buses and went diirectly to the huge and beautiful LDS edifice. They spent the morning of Saturday, Feb. 4, at the temple, followed by two hours at Dis' neyland; dinner at Knottsberry Farm, sightseeing and Cinerama at Warner Brothers theatre in Hollywood." Saturday evening each of the group spent the evening in whatever, manner they chose. Sunday morning there was more sightseeing tours of Forest Lawn, movie stars homes and ' i time at the beach. The buses then returned the sightseers to the station where they boarded the especially chartered Union Pacific train and left for home at 1:30 p. m. They arrived in .Salt Lake City at 8 p. m. Monday morning. . . Bluebirds were then featured with a vocal number and Connie Petersen and Merle Poulsen sang Silver Haired Daddy of Mine. Relay games made the evening lively with dancing the and waltzing Hokey Pokey completing the evening. Prayer was offered by President J. Oleen Palmer.
