Show ' 4 ' Kindergarten Club Hears Home Program club meeting Kindergarten was held Thursday afternoon, Nov. 3, at the War Memorial home with the American Home Department in charge. Mrs.' Vernon Egbert, vice president, conducted with prayer by Mrs. Ray Woodland followed by the pledge by Mrs. C. R. Barker. Mrs. Robert Fett as program chairman, introduced Mrs. A1 Andersen Who sangv. two solos, accompanied' by Mrs. Clarence Wight. " ; Mrs. Pett also introduced Mrs. Roland Madsen who gave a delightfully entertaining talk on the joys of motherhood, home and freedom. Reports were heard by Mrs. R. M. Kaiser on the Womens Legislative Council; Mrs. Dean 'Bunderson on Ground Observers Corp4 qnd Mrs. Clark Hillam on Boy Scout program. Mrs. Ronald Ballingham and Mrs. Earl Olsen distributed new program booklets for the year. Displayed, during the afternoon was a lovely painting, Interrupted Journey by Leslie Humpage In commemoration of National Art Week. Following the program, refreshments were served from a table tastefully decorated with fruit, flowers, candles and fig urines by 'Mrs, Frank Troxell and the following committee members: Mrs. Wynn Andersen, Mrs. Barbara Brawn, Mrs. Evan Begstrom, Mrs. DeRay Qhristen-sen- , Mrs. R. Just this spring he returned from two years U. S. Army service in Alaska. They plan to reside in Preston following their marriage. Miss Keller will become the temple bride of Ashton A. Beckstead, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hesy A. Beckstead, Preston, Idaho, in rites to be conducted in the Logan temple. A reception will honor the newlyweds the same evening in the Mantua LDS ward recreation hall between the hours of 8 and 10 o'clock. i The bride-to-bis a Box Elder high school and seminary graduate. She has attended the LDS business college in Salt Lake City and is now employed at the LDS church offices. Reeder, Brigham City, and Mr. 'and Mrs. David L. Reeder, Kaysville, have motor returned from a ' ; vs trip back east.- They traveled by way ' of Springfield, Missouri Where they visited-wit- h Mr. and Mrs, Phil Christoffersen and family before continuing on to LDS church historic points, of. interest. , Time was spent at Nauvoo and Kiftland, then they saw Niagara Falls. They spent Sunday at Joseph Smiths farm and went into the Sacred Grove before spending time in New York City. A three hour tour of Manhat-ten- , seeing all the sights and also seeing many ships docking, proved most interesting. The Reeders then went to Savannah, Georgia, where they spent a couple of days with Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Reeder. According te their reports the weather was lovely and the foliage covering rolling hills was beautiful. During their trip the group waded in the Atlantic ocean for the first time.
