Show 4 ate an ied ed Box Elder Wildlife Federation Releases 31 Prime Rooster Pheasants Roosters Aplenty The Box Elder Wildlife Federation purchased 31 rooster pheasants from the Rocky Mountain Game and Guinea farm this! week. The birds were distribu-ted throughout Box Elder counn effort to help our di-ty in minishing- - pheasant population. It was estimated that each rooster would have a harem of about 30 hens under favorable conditions. This should help the population by hunting season this fall. More roosters are needed to make an appreciable difference, out the supply is limited. The Wildlife Federations Upland Bird committee intends to carry on a restocking pro gram by planting more adult roosters and incubating eggs and raising birds.
