By Bob Crompton l f r t s i The city council, or at least three-fifth- s of the council, provoked more conversation around town when it passed an ordinance aimed at ousting pin-ba- ll machines, than it did when it unanimously voted to spend a half million dollars on a sewage system. The council was candid and certainly comprehensive when it drew up Ordinance No. 148, An ordinance prohibiting the keeping or playing of marble games, contact games, ball games and amusement devices in ham City They not only gave pin ball machines the boot, but made it technically illegal for grade school youngsters to play marbles (marble games in the ordinance), the Peaches to play baseball (ball games) or Box Elder High School to play football (contact games) .
