Show "V, Former Brigham Set Demonstration' Community Resident Is Injured While On Home Canning Here Tuesday Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon, July 6, In Salt Lake City for I)r. Adams Wesley Ensign,, 79, Utah dentist and active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-daSaints. Dr. Ensign died on Thursday, July 1, at his residence in Salt Lake City following a long illness. He was born January 1, 1875, at Brigham City, a son of Martin Luther and Mary Dunn Ensign. He served an LDS mission from 1896 to 1898 in the Southern States and has been active In church work his entire life. On December 20, 1901, he married Winifred Boden in the Logan LDS temple. He first practiced dentistry in Brigham City and later moved to Logan where he had his home and office for 18 years. He moved to Salt Lake City in 1927. where he continued practice until 1953, when he retired. Survivors included his widow; three sons and four daughters; Huga B. Ensign, Ogden; Wesley B. Ensign, Glendale, Calif.; Coleman B. Ensign, Caldwell, Ida.; Mrs. Farrell C. (Olive) Evans, Phoenix, Ariz.; Mrs. Edwin E. (Winifred) Johnson, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Ruion C. (Bernice) Evans, Prescott, Ariz.; Mrs. Wylie W, (Lois) Swapp, Provo; one sister, Mrs. Effie E. Merrill, Logan; 18 grandchildren and one well-know- Bored with canning? He was born June 30, 1860, in Salt Lake City, a son of Robert and Agnes Wilson Nish. He was educated in Salt Lake City and Corinne. He lived for a short time in Portage. On December 29. 1880, he married Sarah Ann Tims in the Salt Lake Endowment House. The couple moved to Plymouth soon after the marriage. Mrs. Nish died in 1916. In 1923 he married Edith Vaughn. She died in October, 1941. Surviving are the following sons and daughters: Orvil J. Nish, Mrs. Ethel Rudd and Mrs. Mrs. Pearl Hess, Plymouth; Phoebe Udy, Fielding; Robert T. Nish, Logan; Virgil R. Nish, Oakland. Calif.; 44 grandchildren, 100 great grandchildren, 20 great - great grandchildren; one sister and one brother, Mrs. Maude Taylor, Ogden, and Nish. Canada, Funeral services will be con- ducted Thursday at 2 p. m. in the Plymouth ward chapel, Bishop Oleen Josephson officiating.
