Show Third and Fourth Ward Relief Societies Newlyweds Are Residing in Mantua Observe Relief Society Anniversary Jointly In keeping with the 112th an- niversary of the LDS church Relief societies, and especially honoring visiting teachers, members of the Third and Fourth ward Relief societies met Wed nesday evening, la Fourth Ward The program and social was held in the Fourth ward chapel with Mrs. Evelyn Wood as guest speaker. Mrs. Wood spoke of duties of Relief society mothers and of her experiences in the past in writing and directing LDS church pageants and also incidents relative to her service as a missionary with her husband in Germany. The meeting began with the congregation singing, How Let 'Us Rejoice, followed by prayer by Mrs. Hazel Jensen, Third ward. Address of welcome was giv--eby President Pearl Hunsaker of the Fourth ward. She also told of the organizations of the first Relief societies in Box Elder county, along with the organization of the first visiting teachers. Mrs. Mildred Andersen, Third ward, then entertained with a vocal solo. Her number was followed by the guest speaker. Singing Mothers Entertain Members of the Singing Moth- ON ers' chorus of the Fourth ward sang "Make Somebody Happy an original song by Today, Mrs. Lucy Wright. The words to the song were read by Mrs. Ethel Poulter before the group sang under the direction of Mrs. ' Wright. Bishops Pay Tribute Bishop Eberhart ?Iundel and Bishop George Nielson paid tributes to the visiting teachers of their wards. Closing song was sung by the chorus, Savior Hear Us Pray, with Mrs. Nina Beecher, North Box Elder stake Relief society counselor, offering the benediction. . The guest speakers mother, Mrs. Rose May, and Mrs. Zenda Hull, daughter of Mrs. Hunsaker, were introduced by Third ward president, Violet Jensen. Serve in Recreation SHall Following the program refreshments were served in the recreation room from a beautifully arranged table by counselors of the two organizations: Mrs. Hazel Jensen, Mrs. Jane Wood, Mrs. Alta Shaw and Mrs. Leona Bunderson. Pouring at the table were Miss Edna Burnham and Mrs. ' Amy Phillips. (LIDS temple marriage rites were performed March 5 in Logan by President A. George Raymond uniting Miss , Margene Jeppsen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph N. Jeppsen, Mantua, and Robert Isaacson, son of Mr. and Mrs. John L. Isaacson, also of Mantua. Dine At Tropical Room The Tropical room at the Howard Cafe was the scene of the wedding dinner which followed. They are now at home in Mantua. On March 12 in the Mantua ward recreation hall the newlyweds were honored at a reception. Decorating the hall were floral arrangements and two seven branched candelabra. Gowned In Lace ' The bride was lovely in a ballerina length gown of lace and nylon net. The lace edged veil was caught up to a tiara of pearls and rhinestones. She car ried a traditional cascade de signed bouquet of yellow roses centered with a detachable orchid corsage. Standing as bridesmaids were: Miss Ann Keller, Miss Donna Isaacson and Miss Kathleen Isaacson with Miss Myrtle Jepp sen as maid of honor.
