Seager Observe Sixtieth Wedding Anniversary With Open- House Party Observing the sixtieth anniMrs. O. A. Seager will hold open versary off their wedding inj house on Sunday afternoon, Dethe Logan LDS temple, Mr. and cember 27, at the home of their daughter, Mrs. Tolman (Mau-dell- ) Burke, Honeyville, between the hours of 2 and 6 oclock. Long time residents of the valley, Mr. and Mrs. Seager were married on December 27, 1893 in temple ceremonies They lived in Logan for four years, then moved to Cardston, Canada, where they took up a homestead. ' Returning from Canada after seven years, they purchased land at Tremonton and lived there until 1914 when Mr. Seager retired from farming and carpenter work and they moved to Salt Lake City. The grand couple raised a family of four sons and four daughters, six of whom are still living. They have 28 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Mr. Seager was born September 14, 1872 at Fowler, Ohio, the son of Orin B. and Mary E. Tyrrell Seager. He came to Utah With his mother in 1873 and they lived in American Fork Mrs Seager was a daughter of William K. and Hkrnet V. Pitkin Robinson. She was born in Logan, April 27, 1874. (Both very active in church work, Mr. Seager was in the bishopric for 14 years and the high council of Bear River stake for 17 years. He served a two year mission in the northwestern states after he was married. Mrs. Seager has held many positions in the Church, being active in Sunday school, Primary and the stake Relief society as well as musical work.
