He added that fire prevention was well handled at the park. Gourley passed out a big bouquet of roses to the Brigham City volunteer firemen for exemplary picnic camp conduct. He said that at their canyon party they were very clean and cooperative. He added that the Merchants Outing was also well handled from the point of view of a park supervisor. Carl J. Anderson, 68, died at his home in Corinne Saturday morning at 3:30 a. m. He was born April 20, 1885 In Brigham City, a son of Ole and Mary (Ertell Anderson, He was reared and educated in Box Elder county and married Annie Olena Boulson. They made their home In Brigham City for eight years and established a farm In where they have resided since. EdnalXMoffit Dies At Home Edna Laura Knau Moffit, 63, died at 2:45 p. m , Saturday, following a three weeks illness, at her Brigham City home. She was born April 17, 1890 in Geneva, Iowa, the daughter of George J. and Mary Jane Fisher Knau. She was reared in Iowa and married Arthur Bert Moffit July 8, 1931 at, Livingston, Montana. Shortly after their marriage they moved to Brigham City. They later lived in Ogden for 10 years and returned to Brigham City three years ago. She was a member of the Jehovah Witnesses church in Ogden. Surviving are her husband, a sister, Mrs. Sophia M. Fiviland, Livingston, Montana, and a brother, Harley G. Knau, Iowa Falls, Iowa. Funeral services will be held at the Harold B. Felt funeral home at 2 p. m. Wednesday with Clark Hillam of the Brigham City Third ward bishopric officiating. Friends may call at the Harold B. Felt funeral home Wednesday morning prior to services and interment will be in the Brigham City cemetery.
