Democratic Candidate for COUNTY RECORDER V-- ' ' Ole Zundel will manage new clothing store Zundels Will Open This Friday Ole Zundel, son of and Mr. Eberhart Zundel of Brigham City, is back to town, after nine years, and will open his Zundels clothing store at 72 south Main this Friday at 9:30 oclock in the morning. Ole has been in Brigham City the past month supervising the complete remodeling of the former B. and B. market building in preparation for the grand opening this Friday. A complete new interior, the building now has a new tile floor, newly covered walls and freshly painted ceilings. Decorative shelves and racks have been built for display of merchandise. A graduate of Box Elder high and alumnus of Weber college, Ole left Brigham City in 1941 to work at the J. C. Penney company store in Ogden for a year. Additional merchandising ' experience was garnered working for the Fred iM. Nye company from 1942 to 1943, when he left for the army and again from 1946 until 01950. In the army he served in New Guinea and the Philippines. Zundel and his wife, the former Ida Smith, have two boys, one four and one 18 months. The carnival will give hundreds of parents and patrons of the Central district an opportunity to inspect the efficient, completely modem new school building for the first time. Mrs. Richard Hansen has ueen named general chairman of the carnival by Mrs. J. Oleen Palmer, president of the Central P.-A. Mrs. J. Edwin Baird will have charge of the food assisted by Mrs. committee, Floyd AnderSen, and Mrs. E. H. Peters is chairman of games, assisted by Mrs. (Marvin Peters and Mrs. Lester Collings.
