Miss Dian Dalton, popular young daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Dalton of Willard, became an early June bride Wednesday when she was married in a dou-ble ring ceremony to Vernon Drewes, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Drewes. President ElRay Christiansen of the Logan L. D. S. temple performed the ceremony at the temple. Immediately the following dinwedding rites, a ner was held at the Zanavoo in Logan lodge canyon for members of the wedding party which included Mrs. C. O. 6mith of Clearfield, Mr. and Mrs. James Woodland of Pocatello. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Drewes, Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Dalton and the newlyweds. Wednesday evening in the Willard ward amusement hall, a reception and dance honored the young couple over 400 friends and relatives calling. The wedding party, consisting of Mr. and Mrs. Drewes, Mr. and Mrs. Dalton, two friends of the groom, Tommy Rasmussen and Dee Anderson, the bride and groom, the maid of honor. Miss Nola Smith and the bridesmaids, LaRee Anderson, Shelley Robinette and Esther Drewes, 6tood before a life-tim- e Perry News detachable orchid corsage. She was wearing a single strand of pearls, a gift from her brother, Perry, of Michigan. Mrs. Dalton and Mrs. Drewes were gracious in gowns of dusty rose and black rose respectively and displayed orchid corsages. The maid of honor was wearing white over blue and the bridesmaids were gowned in blue and yellow formals with old fashioned nosegays. A large, decorated delectably wedding cake was on display on a small lace covered table cloth with burning tapers on either side. A miniature bride and groom topped the cake.
