P. Dalton, Willard, announce the approaching marriage of their daughter Dian, to Mr. Vernon Drew es, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Drewes. The ceremony will take place in the Logan L. D. S. temple on June Wednesday, 8, with members of the immediate family attendance. the 'Following ceremony, a reception will be held in the Willard ward amusement hall, starting at 8:30 oclock. Dian and Vernon are both graduates of Box Elder high school, with the class of 19t9. Several members of the Book Lore club enjoyed a delightful evening Tuesday, May 31, at and the annual spring party banquet held at Zanavoo lodge in Logan canyon, with their husbands as special invited guests. A delicious dinner was served at tables appropriately decorated with bouquets of spring flowers, after which games were played with Mrs. Elwyn Seely and Oleen Palmer winning high score prizes . Husbands Are Guests North Stake Girls Of Book Lore Members Hold Gypsie Jamboree At Banquet in Logan At Crystal Springs pi :i Dian Dalton to be wed in the Logan temple . , . North Box Elder stake Y. W. held a gypsy jamboree Tuesday evening, May 31, at Crystal Springs from 7:30 until 11:00 o'clock. The girls enjoyed swimming and roller skating, community singing, fortune telling, stories, and above all the picnic lunch that was prepared. Approximately 175 girls attended the jamboree. 'Because of the storm, the scheduled camp fire could not be held but substitute entertainment was provided. M, I. A. They were presented with corsages of roses and wild flowers after a welcome message by Second Lieutenant Lucy Johnson. Corsages were also given the retiring camp officers, Ivy Fuller, Neola and Armstrong, Anna Cottam Matilda Lillywhite.
