Class i I"1 " A na Victim Of Crash Earl Fredrick Jacobsen, Mantua, age 41, was killed at 12:20 Thursday morning in a crash in Box Elder canyon, a mile this side of Mantua. The conjecture of investigating officers was that Jacobsen dozed at the wheel of his car, in which he was riding alone, and sideswiped a truck. The truck was driven by Wardell Ciinger of Etna, Wyo., and Ernest Green, also of Etna, was a passenger. Neither was injured. Jacobsen was born July 29, 1907, at Logan, son of Fredrick B. and Anna Margret Neilson Jacobsen, both of whom live in Mantua. He attended Mantua elementary school and Box Elder high school. He was an elder in the Mantua ward. Besides his parents he is survived by three brothers, Uriel M. Jacobsen, Mantua; Lamar M. Jacobsen, Rollings, Wyo., and DuWain Jacobsen, Elko. Nev. Funeral services will be Saturday afternoon at 2 oclock in the Mantua ward, with Bishop Newell J. Larsen officiating. Friends may call at the family home Friday evening and Saturday prior to the services. Burial will be in the Mantua cemetery under the direction of the Harold B.
