F .Stake To Hold Sheath Binding Ceremony The Gleaner Girl class of the Seventh ward held their Sheath Binding ceremony Sunday evening in the ward chapel. This ward is the first in the North Box Elder stake to bind their sheath this year, according to Mrs. Nellie Wight, stake gleaner leader. The chapel was decorated with beautiful potted ferns, ivy and a lovely floral arrangement as the centerpiece on the pulpit. The girls of the class presented the program: following Shine On was sung by the entire Gleaner class, after which Mary Hirschi gave a reading of the Gleaner girl sheath. The Story of Ruth, was given by Joyce Conner and June Sackett, sang King of Glory." Donna Packer talked on What It Means to Be A Gleaner, and Renae Harper and Mary Walker presented a piano and organ duet selection. Following the presentation of the program, the girls, all gracious in lovely evening gowns, descended to the pulpit to lay their sheath of wheat, which was tied by their class president, LaDora Nelson, who presented it to the bishop. Nellie Wight, stake gleaner leader then presented the sheath award to Mrs. Ruth R. Reeder, the gleaner leader.
