Joe Lynam, popular wrestler from was killed Redmond, Oregon when his plane crashed in a , fog 20 miles east of Bend. was flyhe while Saturday ing to Redmond. several times Joe had here in Brigham City during the past winter and summer and was very popular with local fans. He was a clean wrestler and tough competition. Joe had just become the father of a baby girl three months previous to his death. His wife and daughter were in Redmond and he was flying to see them and also for a match which he had scheduled. The flight took him into some fog and his AT-struck a mountain ridge about 500 feet from the summit.
