Show Utah Resources infant Knave!, Ylew5-$oumX ELDER Briqram City, Utah Survey To Be Here Fri. Eve Woher, Box Elder and Cache counties will unite Friday evenin' in a meeting at S oclock in the Chamber of Commerce clubrooms at Brigham City to make plans for a survey and analysis of the natural resources of northern Utah counties as part of a survey being made throughout the state by the University of Utah under the sponsorship of the Utah Association of Chamber of Commerce executives and the industrial division of the Salt Lake City Chamber of Commerce. The northern Utah meeting is one of a series of preliminary meetings with the natural resources committee of the state Chambers of Commerce to outline local problems and to indicate the investigations which are necessary. It will be held under the direction of C. W. Merrell, chairman of the Brigham City Chambers new industries committee, and attendance has been promised from Cache county by M. R. Hovey, secretary of the Logan Chamber, and E. J. Fjelsted, secretary of the Ogden organization. Plans for the meeting inciude an outline of the work planned by the resources group, and the objectives, given by Dr. ElRoy he Nelson, acting director of bureau of economic and business research at the University of Utah. When the work is completed a report and analysis of all resources of the state will be made, suggestions for their coordination will be included, and these will be offered to businesses seeking to establish in the state. The program for Friday evenings meeting, with Merrell and introducing presiding guests, will include a talk on Purposes of Industrial Development Research by ElRoy Nelson, acting director, bureau of business research, University of Utah. Nelson will discuss the purposes of the present research Wednesday, July program, and explain why in dustrial growth is necessary to the stale. He will give attention to growth of present industries as well as the development of new, and explain the procedure of the study. Theron Nelson will speak on "What Industrial Development Means to a Community, and Ferris Hilliard will speak on Prospects for Food Production and Processing. Following these talks there will be open discussion of additional research needed, plan of action toward development, and possibilities of local committees as sources of materials for research, for suggestions and for . continuing the research Following the open discussions, the speakers then will summarize the meeting. The baby died in al Brigham City, and Mr. and Mrs George L. Knavel, Salem, Ohio; and the following brothers and sisters: Ronnie, Gary, Beverly Jean and a twin brother, Keith. Services were conducted at the Felt mortuary by Bishop Richard Hansen of the Sixth ward. The prelude was played by Juanita Steffen. Prayer was by Leslie Bowden and a violin solo by Harold Felt, accompanied by Evelyn Kay, was followed by a song, That Sweet Little Rosebud Has Left You, by Erma Hansen and Juanita Steffen, accompanied by Mrs. Kay. Benediction was by Harold Felt, and Bishop Hansen dedicated the grave. Burial was in the Brigham City cemetery, under the direction of the Harold B.
