April 29, members of the Brigham Epsilon chapter of Beta Sigma Phi joined the Logan Eta chapter for the formal Founders Day banquet and litual of jewels which took place in the Pioneer room at the Bluebird cafe in Logan. This occasion marked the 17th birthday of the Beta Sigma Phi was served at a table decorated with the sorority flower, yellow roses. At the head table, a winding road over a miniature mountain with blooming peach trees on one side and a icpliea of the Logan temple on the other side, depicting the friendship of the two chapters, was used as the centerpiece. President Mildred Thayne ot the Eta chapter welcomed the guests and introduced Berne)! Winn as toastmistress of the evening. A toast was given by Ida Sehaub to The Founders, international and local. Director LaP.ue Tyre of Eta chapter lead the message from Mr. Ross, the founder of Beta Sigma Phi. Musical numbers were furnished members of the Epsilon chapter throughout the evening.
