The Weber Warriors will undoubtedly furnish the Bees their stiffiest competition so far this year and will enter the game as the favorite. The Ogden team Is loaded with lettermen that are backed up with some reliable reserves which team up to give the Warriors plenty of strength to go full blast all of the game. Led by two high scoring men in Cook and Hofenbeck, the Weber team has turned in some lopsided games. When a team concentrates on Cook, Ilofen-bec- k goes wild and vice versa. However, the Bees will put a team on the floor that Is different than any faced by the Warriors ihis season The Rees slow up their game and woik for openings before shooting. The entire team is able to score wdth almost equal consistancy which calms down the game. On defense they take up a man to man system and the boys pick up their men early so as not to give them a ehanee to set for open shots. The result has been games where the winner usually has a seme in the low thirties and the loser is in the 20s. The game will ip a defensive club against an offensive quintet, and the outcome could go either way. As the region stands now the Bees are tied with four other teams for second place. Weber tops The heap and Logan at the bottom with no wins and four defeats. Elsewhere in the region, North Cache plays host to the Logan CONGATULATIONS 0. Orclcy didnt play fair as he called in help from the ring posts in the bout last Monday evening and left Ken bleeding and out cold from the gashes on the head. Mayne received the decision and the match because of these tactics, and challenged the Aussie to a rematch at whatever rules he wanted. This challenge came alter Mayne had been revived and had charged into the dressing room to tangle all over again with Oreley. The free for all was broken up by Dave Reynolds and Finn Gibbs. The fight was moved back to February 5 but a location couldn't be found in Brigham that was large enough to hold the crowd so the fight is slated to be held in Logan. Joey is classed as a welterweight and it will be Keith's first venture in that weight The Brigham City boy will have to give a several pound weight advantage to Jacques, but will still rule as the favorite because of his hitting power and speed. The wrestles in the armory, that are sponsored by the Brigham City Junior Chamber of Commerce have been exceptionally well received by the small crowds regularly attending. The Ken Mayne-JacOreley rematch looks to be one of the loughest wrestles that fans will have a chance to see. This one isnt for Hie benefit of the crowd.
