Mr. and Mrs. Claude Iverson had charge of a miniature carnival game and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kimber had charge of several contest games, which added to the merriment of the evening. Fonnesbeck is the former Leone Nelson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Nelson of Brigham City and Mrs. Stanford Fonensbeck is the former Donna Tingey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orson L. Tingey also of Brigham City. Mr. and Mrs. Tingey and Mrs. Guen Limb and sons, Bob and Dick, attended tbe services. Mrs. Marie C. Fonnesbeck of Logan, paternal grandmother of all the babies was also present. The four babies were born within the same month and their parents all reside In Howell. Ladies Faculty League Met Monday Afternoon Mrs. Winston Nelson Entertains At Bridge noise-maker- s Cat-face- s for The November meeting the Ladies Faculty league was held Monday afternoon, November 3, at the home of Mrs. Grant Prisbrey. The rooms were beautifully decorated with roses and ehrysenthemums. Mrs. John Owen conducted the meeting. A delicious luncheon was served after which Mr. John Owen of the High School speech department read a play, "Skin of our Teeth," by Thornton Wilder. There were 37 members and two guests present. The committee in charge of arrangements were Mrs. R. M. Gourley, chairman, assisted by Mrs. Grant Prisbrey, Mrs. Lloyd Huist, Mrs. George A. Nielsen, Mrs. DelMont Beecher, Mrs. John P, Lillywhite, Miss Flora Hansen and Miss Maxine Fender. two-cours- e Locust Camp Meets At Leonard Burrows Home The Locust camp of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers met Thursday evening at Ihe home Of Mrs, Leonard Burrows. Captain Hazel Norton presided and Mary E. Collett conducted the meeting. The opening song was Redeemer of Israel. Two piano solos were played by Miss Mary Lou Burrows. The life history of Christian Nielsen was read by Mary Jeppson. The lesson, "Pioneer Memoirs" was treated by Wanda Richardson. During the social hour, refreshments were served by Eva Burrows. Presbyterian Women's Society Meeting Thurs. The Presbyterian Women's Society will hold their regular meeting Thursday afternoon at 2:30 oclock at the home of Mrs. L. E. Beane, 363 north First west, with Mrs. J. E. Ryan and Mrs Beane as hostesses Mrs. Madeleine Ifervey will be in charge of the program, relating to the society all material she could gather on the Tuscon Indian school, Tuscon, Ariz. All members are urged to be Mrs. Verd The annual Box Elder County Encampment of the Daughters of thp Utah Pioneers will tie held Saturday, November K at 2 o'clock, in the First ward chuich. The biennial election of county officers will be held this year. Also, reports of the past years activities will be made by county officers and captains of the fifteen active camps. An unusual musical program has been arranged, featuring I,. M. Hilton of Ogden, who has made a hobby of collecting "Folk Songs of Utah," and sings them in a very entertaining manner. Mr. Hilton appeared on the program in the October D. U. P. convention in Salt Lake City, and his piesentation of folk songs was one of the outstanding features of the convention. Miss Donna Peterson, Brigham City musician, now attending the B. V. U., will also appear on the program in a novelty number. Representatives from the Central company will be in attendance, and it is urged that all members of the D. U. P. in Box Elder county come out and enjoy this fine program. Wednesday night.
