Show School They're Winners Of Contests At Central Over Six Hundred Grade Pupils TopJ In Jayceette Picture And Story Contest! A CONTEST STORY Jean's Christmas Eve By Sonia Petersen Central School Third Prize Jean Snow was very lonely. As she lay huddled up of her against the ruins she thought of Christmas. It was only six days away. Poor Jean, she did not even have a home. Her mother, father and brothers were dead. She was alone in the world. She had no home far Santa to bring her toys. Jean was very sad. She did not warm have clothing and had very little h-- food. The man asked her name and Jean told him. He then asked her if she would like to go to America. Jean was so hapand py she jumped up down. The man bought her new clothing and a ticket. The next day Jean got on the ship. In four days she arrived in America. The soldiers mother was there to She took Jean greet her. to her new home. There Jean saw the pretty tree and ornaments. That night after Jean was in bed, Santa came. He gave her a doll and everything anybody could hope for.
