A gorgeous lace table cloth covered the long serving table and beautiful white and pink gladioli arranged in a crystal howl and pink tapers in ciystal candelabra were used for table Miniature decorations. pink baskets mints with colored marked the places for eleven guests. A sumptuous cold turkey plate was served. Mrs. Buffington has been an employee of the Howard cafe for the past thirteen years. She was presented a lovely waffle iron by her and Mr. and Mrs. Howard presented her with a beautiful sandwich toaster . She also received several other handsome gifts. Short talks will be given by Mrs. Effie Barrows of the Extension office, Mrs. Winnifred Jarvis, city nurse, and Mrs. (Nettie B. Lund, Box Eider counity home demonstration agent. The girls in the club will exhibit work completed this summer in their home furnishings, phase 2 projects. Pins and ribbons twill be awarded to winners and those who have successfully completed projects. AS A PATRIOTIC SERVICE Francis Rides and S'mws, one of the cleanest, most highly regarded carnival companies ever to show in Brigham City, will be here August 19, 20, 21 and 22, under the sponsorship of Brigham Post No. 10 of tin American Legion, according to announcement made by the local Legion post this week. Among the attractions featured by the Francis shows this season are five rides, including the largest portable in the world for five cents for children under 12 years old Masons monkey circus, and a number of other carnival attractions.
