And in appreciation, the students got together while their teacher was away and quilted a full size quilt, with each students name embroidered on the quilts edge. I broke down and cried when they gave it to me, said Joan. This is the sweetest class I have ever taught. The students had to assemble in the nearby South Weber LDS Chapel to find enough room to make the quilt as every student participated on the weekend project. The dinners are held the first Saturday night of each month. This is being done to raise funds for the post activities and is open to the public. wdBO Mr. and Mrs. Glen Garrett had their three sons visit a few days with them while they came for the elk hunt at Jackson Hole, Wyo. Mrs. Randall Bowring returned from Cape Cod, Mass., where she spent two weeks with her daughter and family, Garretts two daughters, Terry and Cindy who are attending Brigham Young University in Provo also visited with their grandparents and their father during his stay. Elder Allen Smith has received his mission call to the New Mexico mission. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Smith, former Kaysville residents, who are now living in Fairbanks, Alaska. Miss Shannette Preece of Logan spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe F. Preece. Shannette is a senior student at Utah State University this year Mr. and Mrs. Jack Oram and family have had some excitement at their home the past week. Their son Elder Kelly Oram, returned home LDS from serving a two-yeMission to the New York, New York City Mission. He will give his mission report in the Kaysville Tenth LDS Ward on Sunday, Oct. 30, and their other son Elder Kirk Oram, has just received his mission call to serve in the Georgia-Atlant- a Mission. He will enter the mission home in Salt Lake City on Dec. 3. Elder Kelly returned home Sunday night, Oct. 16. Returning from a weeks vacation trip to Wilmington, Delaware are Mr. and Mrs. Sam Raymond. They spent the week visiting with their son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Raymond. Mrs. Bonnie Heywood entertained at a luncheon Tuesday, for her sister, Mrs. Olive Bnnghurst, who is visiting from Campbell, Calif. Guests included friends of Mrs. Bringhurst whom she had not seen in many years. They were Mrs. Helen Sjoblom, Mrs. Alene Leonard, Mrs. Margaret Johnson, Mrs. Ruth Brown, all of Farmington, and Mrs. Morjorie Whitesides of Layton. Some she had not seen for 40 years. Mrs. Bringhurst was a former Kaysville resident and other points graduated from Davis High of interest en Heywood-accompanie- Mission Viejo, Calif, have moved to Kaysville to make their home and will be resid- Ojai, Calif., of the arrival of a new granddaughter bom Oct. 6, to Mr. and Mrs. Donnis Mary Bowring is Ron and Linda Cooper of ar ing in the Hob Hill subdivision. She is a niece of Mrs. Dorothy Tice. Mr. and Mrs. F. Burton Winters sang a vocal duet at the funeral services of Bishop Michael Austin in Provo on Friday. Bishop Austin was the former bishop of both Mr. and Mrs. Winters when they resided in Afton, Wyo. Mr. and Mrs. Ira Ward of Riverside were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Meldon Ward and family. Mr. and Mrs. Allen Barger of Bountiful, Mrs. Wilford Tolman of Provo were visitors during the week of Mr. and Mrs. Linn Sandall. Mr. and Mrs. Ron W. Hill and friends from Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Noble, Mr. and Mrs. Kent Lewis have just returned from a five-da- y trip to Acapulco, Mexico, where they stayed at the Acapulco Princess Hotel on the beach. They took many side tours during their stay and enjoyed a beautiful and fun vacation. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Anderson and daughter Carolyn, and her mother, Mrs. Coriila Sessions, visited over the weekend in Bancroft, Ida., with Mr. and Mrs. Russell Hebdon and Mrs. Buenta Muir and families. Mr. and Mrs. Meldon Ward Calif. Mrs. Heaton then flew to Victoria, British Columbia where she was a house guest of Captain and Mrs. A. G. Graham. She had the interesting experience of flying from Victoria Island to Vancouver Island in a Sea Plane in 20 minutes rather than the usual three hour trip. She said the views were extremely beautiful. In Vancouver she visited with the Charles Spring family members. Mr. and Mrs. Golden Taylor, Mr. and Mrs. Linn Sandall spent a week at Albuquerque, New Mexico with their children, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Sandall and family. Roger is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Linn Sandall and his wife is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Golden Taylor. After an enjoyable visit they visited Mesa Verdes and law degree from Brigham Young University in Provo, their have received word from An updated plan to meet the requirements of the amended Clean Air Act will be provided by planners from the Wasatch Meiners. Mrs. Grant and Mr. Bringhurst of Campbell, Calif., are visiting for one week with Mr. and Mrs. George HeyWopd and also with Mr. and Mrs' Dee Robins and other relatives. Air Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) federal grant to obtain money to write the plan which must be approved by January 1979 for the areas which do not currently meet the standards.
