Since retiring from the dry cleaning business, Yoshi has kept busy managing the apartments they bought. She is very active in community activities and serves on the board of the Senior Citizens of Davis County, for the Heritage Center, and she is a board member of the Orientation and Training Program for Volunteers to the Senior Citizens of Davis County. V $ YOSHIKA OMURA Fred Mrs. Omura, (Yoshika) 435 South 750 East, Clearfield has been named Woman of the Year by the Lakeview Business Womens Club for 1977. MRS. OMURA has been a member of the club for the past seven years and has served the club as foundation chairman, program chairman and hostess at dinner meetings. For the past two years she has hosted the summer party at her home and served delicious Japanese dishes. She is a charter member of the Lakeview Club. M I 3 ? - i I i MRS. OMURA, or Yoshi as she is known to her friends, is the retired owner of the Favorite Cleaners of Clearfield. She was in business for 194 years serving the community in which she lived. Yoshi was born in Green River, Wyoming, a daughter of K. and Tsuru Matsumoto. It was here she met her husband Fred. They were married Nov. 19, 1939. They are parents of three sons and one blessing and naming of the new addition.
