Franklin, Wis., recently helped save the lives ' IP. i Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, January 11, 1977 at 7:30 P.M., at the City Hall, 511 N. Fairfield Street, a Keflavik. THE THREE hikers had fallen into a ravine on an ice flow which had broken off of a glacier and was floating free. A rescue team from the Icelandic Lifesaving Association (ILA) found this injured hikers, but were unable to evacuate the victims because of the rugged terrain and jagged ice ravines. An urgent call was placed to the Iceland Defense Force by the director of the ILA requesting assistance in i V I Reykam- civilian medical facility for treatment.
