Mrs. Talbot and her family have resided on a farm in West Layton, and she knew many of the hardships that r Michael Grant MacArthur . age 27 of 175 West 400 South died August 16, 1976 at a Salt Lake Hospital of cancer. HE WAS bom May 17, 1949 at Salt Lake City; being the son of Grant Lillie and Vivian Bowlden MacArthur. The family was converted to the LDS Church by the LDS missionaries serving in Bel- -' gium and emigrated to the United States in 1906 to Winter Quarters, Utah and later made their home in Hooper. Webster in the Salt Lake LDS temple and has resided in Kaysville since that time. Mrs. Webster has enjoyed her roll as a mother and homemaker. She is an excellent cook and a neat and particular homemaker having raised eight children. SHE HAS been active in many of the LDS Church organizations having served numerous years in the Relief Society. She has been a Relief Society visiting teacher for nearly 50 years and has been in charge of the quilting for the various wards in Kays- has been quilting since she was nine years of age. The beautiful quilts she has completed are too numerous to count. At her home she has a quilt on the frames continually as a hobby and past time. Her quilting is an art and she is known throughout the county for her beautiful work. She not only does quilts, but all other types of handiwork and crocheted items. Mrs. Larkins is among the faithful Davis County citizens who enters her work in the annual county fair. She stated, everything she has ever entered has won her a first place prize. SHE TOOK care of her bedfast mother for six years. She said, she has always tried to help everyone who has ever needed something done. This in itself has been rewarding experience throughout her life. She enjoyed cooking and was among the top cooks in the community. She drove a car up until a few years ago and she would pick up her friends and neighbors and take them on their errands and chauffeur them about town to the various activities and functions. SHE IS a wonderful neighbor and is loved and respected by all who know her. Mrs. Larkins has one brother, Percy Flinders of West Weber and one sister Mrs. Florence Garner of Rupert, Idaho. MRS. SHE LARKINS ALSO has and grandchildren jj nine whom SHE WAS born June 29, 1892, in Cedar City, the of Richard daughter Alldridge and Sarah Stewart Thorley. She was married to Samuel B. Stucki on March 27, 1917, in the St. George LDS temple. He died April 20, 1976. HOMER Franklin Rewis, field died Friday at the Veterans hospital in Salt Lake City. THE care of the flowers was by the Kaysville 14th Ward Air Force Sgt. Dies In Reservoir Relief Society. Sgt. Jimmie Ray Ratliff, an Air Force enlisted man stationed at Hill Air Force Base drowned near Cemetery Point in Pineview Reservoir last Friday. SGT. Ratliff was swimming with a friend Friday afternoon when he drowned. His body was recovered at 7:05 by Dee R. Forbes. 1 p.m. and taken to McKay Dee Hospital. Sgt. Ratliff was 24 years old. He was born Feb. 25, 1952, in St. Louis, Mo. He was a son of James R. and Frances McCool Ratliff. HE WAS a sergeant with the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the 388th Tactical Fighter Wing stationed at Hill AFB.
