Mr. and Mrs. Harold Spen-e- r have as their guests this week, Mr. Spencers mother, Mrs. Mary C. Spencer of Salt Lake City, and also his stater and nephew, Mrs. Don Henry, and son Harold of Glendale, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Kay Walker and son Mark of Phoenix, Arisona for two weeks with are ' Mr. visiting and Mrs. Ralph Walker, Kays parents, also with Mrs. Walkers sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Kerr. John Bennett, Jerry Hansen, and Roger Adams, all enjoyed a weekend vacation at Lava Hot Springs, in Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Ezra T. Jamboree is being held at Colorado Springs, Colo. It will last ten days. The Layton boys attending it are: Robert Wine-gason of Mayor and Mrs. Wayne Winegar; Scott Kelly, son of Dr. and Mrs. Robert V. Kelly; Wayne Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs. Morris M. Miller; and L. E. Simmons, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy W. Simmons. Senator and Mrs. Haven J. Barlow and family of Layton, and Mr. and Mrs. Barlow Bnggs and children from Salt Lake City, left Friday, July 22, to spend an enjoyable weekend at Sun Valley, Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Biggs and family of Layton left Friday to vacation in Wyoming. Their main point of interest will be the beautiful Jenneys Lake area in Wyoming. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Monaon and family spent the 24th of July weekend in Yellowstone Park. Christine Clark, Carol Gard- - of the descendants of Arthur Hess at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Hess of Ogden, Sunday. Mrs. John French of Livermore, Calif., has been a guest of Mr. and Mrs. Vance T. Bennett for the past 10 days. Mrs. French is Mrs. Bennetts moth- Sherman Bennett, Syracuse, atid Dellas Stayner of Marriott, are vacationing for two weeks in northern California. They are visiting the same area where Mr. Bennett served while on an LDS mission. He has been home a little less than a year. Jeffrey Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Forest S. Johnson, Layton, will leave Sunday, July 31, for Ft. Ord, Calif. He will have the companionship of his friend, Don Smith. The Skyline bridge club, of Layton, enjoyed a lovely dinner at the Ambassador Club in Salt Lake City. The following members attended this dinner and e played bridge afterwards: Thatcher, Olive Wixom, lone Ellis, Lydia Allen, Artell Chandler, Gretta Bone, Dorothy Day, Merle Iverson, Viola Whitesides, Relda Bringhurst, Atherla Riley and Smith. Joyce Evans recently returnMsr-jori- Isabelle ed home after a pleasant vaca- tion with Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Muir and family. On their vacation, they picked up a new car and then toured through Canada and most of the Eastern states. They traveled thru Texas and Arizona on their way home. George Evans, Layton, is in Oakland, California, attending the funeral of his brother Leonard Evans, formerly of Lay-to- n. ner and Estelle Williams were guests for luncheon at Adele home Tuesday. The Barnett occasion was to celebrate Adeles 12th birthday. Milton and Fern Hess have returned from the National Convention in San Francisco where Mr. Hess was an alternate delegate representing the Democratic party in Davis County and in Utah. the While in California Heaaee visited Ferns sister and family the Robert Klllpacki. Dr. and Mrs. Killpack are planning to move to Utah after Dr. Killpack Is released from the service next month. The Hesses also visited Milts sister, Clair Smith and family who reside in Pasadena. Vernon end Dorthy Bowen and family have returned from a visit to Mr. Bowens parents in Colorado. The Richard Hamblin family visited with relatives in over the Holiday weekend. Mrs. Wallace Hughee and children stayed over night with Irvine and Sylva Hughes. The visitors who came from Portland, Ore. also visited with Mrs. Helen Hughes and family. A visitor in Farmington over the weekend was Elizabeth Mathis. Miss Mathis stayed with Kathy Rice, who is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rawl Rice. Elizabeth lives in South Weber. Mrs. Ed (Gladys) Robinson is enjoying a visit from her daughters family, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Moody and son Stephen. The Moody family resides in Chicago, HL Mark Webb of Lehi is visiting with hli sister, Mrs. Max Democratic HO;, IE OP UNUSUAL SAVINGS Dus-che- 00 (Margaret) Elliott. Mr. and Mrs. Don Adams of Springdale, Idaho visited with Mrs. Adams brother, Mr. Etsil R. Fisher and his family. The Adams also visited with Mrs. Adams' mother, Mrs. Eola Fisher who has been visiting with the Fishers. The Walter Elliott family went to Heber, Saturday where they awam and picnicked. On their return trip they went to Provo and to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Theron Kuhni where they stayed overnight. The Elliotts brought back with them, 6 OZ- - CANS Kuhni Dalian who will stay with them for a short visit. Mr. and Mrs. Ward Warnock and son Bob and Bob's friend Neal Sessions have left for Sun Valley for a vacation. Mr. and Mrs. Louis J. Sjob-loleft last Saturday by plans for New York where they will visit daughter Deanne. Deanne who is an airline stewardess will come back with her parents after showing them the sights of New York. While visiting there, they will go to Oakland to visit their daughter, Karlene. A family reunion took Mr. and Mrs. Golden Adams to Carson City, Nevada, where they were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Byran L. Harris and daughters, Pam, Margo and Lone. There, the John Putniks and daughters, Julie and Kathy, of Sacramento, Calif, and Mr, and Mrs. Clark G.
