The trim lace bodice featured long sleeves tapering to points over the wrists and a boat neckline daintily edged with pearls. The full skirt was alternating tiers of lace and net. From a pearl crown her veil fell fingertip length and she carried a heart shaped bouquet of glamellias and carnations. Smedley and Mrs. Milton Smedley, They wore brocaded taffeta gown in pastel shades fashioned with full skirts and boat necklines and carried bouquets of gardenias and carnations. On Friday evening, they were feted at a wedding reception held in the recreation hall of the Farmington Second Ward chapel. A bouffant model h of bride's illusion and alencon lace over satin, was chosen by the bride for her wedding reception. Garlands of lace accented the skirt and formed the molded bodice. A scalloped neckline following the pattern of the lace, was enhanced by sequins. The long sleeves, which tapered to points over the wrist h were of lace also. Her veil of nylon illusion, fell from a bandeau of seed pearls. Red rose buds surrounded white camellias in the lovely brides bouquet. Pink camellias and white daisies accented the pastel pink silk organza sheaths of the brides attendants. They included: Mrs. Dean Cowdin, matron of honor; Miss Hulene Bradley, Miss Norma Bradley, Miss Penny Bradley, all sisters of the bride; and Miss Charlene Gamer.
