Lloyd, President o t the Utah State Senate, and Chairman of the Utah ' Legislative Council, has announced his candidacy for the Republcan nomination for Congress from Utahs 2nd District, comprising Salt Lake, Utah, Davis and Toole counties. Senator Lloyd is a Salt Lake attorney who has concentrated his legal practice in the trade association field. He is General Counsel and Secretary to the Utah Retail Grocers Association. He is also a member of the Board of Governors of the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce, a director of Beehive State Bank and former president of the National Food Trade Executives Association. Mrs. Moss was bom February 17, 1884, in Heber City, Utah. After she married the late Joseph Hyrum Smith, they lived in Idaho, later moving to West Point where they lived for 40 years.
