Garcia,-Dan- ny Party heightens Christmas spirit A visit Santa Sunset by the Ward Claus highlighted Christmas party hosted by the Sunset Third Ward bishopric Monday evening. The Primary organization entertained the group in a Christmas skit. Mrs. Shirley Reed of the Sunday School organization presented an enjoyable puppet show. Henry Bell delighted children and grownups in his portrayal of that very special Christmas . character. Women of the Relief Society joined in the round of Christmas parties Tuesday night. Ladies of the Third Ward enjoyed the program planned by Norma Earle, refreshments arranged by Charlene Hansen and decoiations by planned Betty Koster. The ladies exchanged small gifts to climax ' Kaysville-rM- r. and Mrs. Ronald Tippetts and Mrs. Allen Strong entertained at a Christmas supper paity for members o t their Sunday School classes of tha Fifth Ward. Dr. Hansen, head of the BYU speech and dramatic arts department,, and eight other members of the cast for Noel Cowards "Blithe Spirit applied for passports Tuesday afternoon in the Utah County Gerk's office. The group, augmented by two additional cast members not yet chosen, will leave January 22, for a seven week tour of Japan, Korea, Okinawa, the Philippines, Guam and Hawaii. These classes began December 19 and will continue six days a week until they leave. Student entertainers will receive 14 hours of upper division and graduate credit for the classes and tour. After they return they will make an evaluation of the tour. Miss Brough is a senior at the BYU where she is majoring in speech and minorlng in music. Religious groups slate Christmas events at IIAFB Hill Air Force Base Catholic and Protestant events at Hill AFB during the Christmas season were announced today by the base chaplain's office. On Dec. 20, base Catholic personnel held a Christmas party for dependent children, beginning at 4 p.m. Santa Claus was there distributing "goodies with special music rounding out the festivities. Confessions will be held on Dec. 14 at 10 am., noon, and 9 and 11 p.m. Christmas carols and jlessing of the crib will be at 11.30 pm. at the chapel.
