W. Bennett, and her two brothers and their families, Mr. and Mrs. Bussell Bennett, Mr, and Mrs. Lyle Bennett. n Mr. and Mrs. Parley returned home Friday vacation trip from a three-wee- k to the East. They purchased a new car at Lansing, Michigan, went up the St. Lawrence seaway into Quebec, Canada down through Maine to New York, visited with her sister, Mrs. Joseph Acrifolio, at Kingsburg, New Jersey for a few days: Mrs. Thorderson had not seen her sister in eight years. They spent time at Boston, Mass., the government offices at Washington, D. C., Mt Vernon, Illinois and all ppints of interest enroute home. Mr. and Mrs. Phil Krebs and family returned home from a k vacation trip to Los Angeles and San Francisco. Mrs. Lavida Larkin entertained at a luncheon at her home Friday afternoon for the following guests. Mrs. Bertha Green, Mrs. Lyda Rideout, Mrs. Linda Jensen, Mrs. Stina Garrett, Mrs. Crystal Garrett, Mrs. Vilate Colemere, all of Salt Lake; Mrs. Ada Payne, OreMrs. her stepmother, gon, Thomas Jensen, and Miss Laura Garrett, Salt Lake; and Miss Robyn Larkin. Mrs. Gene Lewis and daugh Thor-derso- two-wee- hi X s ters, Sherry and Sandra, Billings, Montana, and Mrs. Taylor of Montana were house guests last week of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Lewis. They attended the MIA June conference in Salt Lake while here. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Thom- as, Missouri, former residents of Kaysville, spent last week in Salt Lake where they attended the wedding reception of their son Frank. Mrs. P. H. Rasmussen, Logan, was a guest of her daughter and family, Mrs. Fred Kirby last week. Mrs. Glen Austin and two daughters Cathy and Melody will leave Thursday for Cheyenne, Wyoming, where they will spend a week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Morse. Her parents are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Don Morse and four children, Carpenter, Wyo., were guests last weekend of Mr. and Mrs. Austin and family. Mr. Morse is a brother of Mrs. Austin. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Thom-asse- n and family left for Calik vacation fornia on a trip to visit with their son and Mr. and Mrs. daughter-in-la- raine Scoffield, Mrs. Fern San-da- ll and Mrs. Lucille Butler attended the funerM service of Mrs. Alice .Allens father Warren Simmons at Lewiston, Wednesday. Fireman Don Carter, who Is with the U. S. Navy on the U.S.S. Bremerton, is spending five days this week with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Boyer Carter and his brother, Scott. Don has spent the past six months in the South Pacific. His ship took part in the Rose Festival at Portland, Oregon this month. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Stanton and children, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Cloward and children returned home Sunday from a vacation trip for one week to California. While in California, they visited the LDS Temple at Los Angeles, Disneyland, Marineland, Knotts Berry Farm, and all points of interest. They spent a day at Las Vegas enroute home. Visitors over the weekend of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Turner were Mrs. Stella Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Westphal, Mr. and Mrs. David Anderson, Salt Mr. and Mrs. Jake Lake; Brown, Ogden. Nedra Thorderson, who recently graduated from the Weber College, left June 5 for Lake Tahoe, where she will work during the summer months. She is staying with friends, Mr. and Mrs. Ken Watkins.
