Show The Page 15 May 2, 1957 REFLEX ' Diana Turner Becomes Bride Of John Morrill in Temple Farmington Mis Diana Turner became the bride of John D. Morrill in a ceremony solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple Friday, April 20. President ElRay L. Christiansen officiated. Following the ceremony, the young couple was honored at a breakfast at Temple wedding Square Hotel. Friday evening the newlyweds were honored at a reception at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Leslie Turner, 327 N. 1st East, Farmington. The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin John Morrill, 40 East 3010 South, Suit Lake. For the reception the bride wore an original gown of lace and tulle underscored with satin. The lace bodice is styled with long tapefed sleeves and a winged collar. The floor-lengt- h bouffant skirt is formed of many tiers of tulle ruffles accented by a panel of scalloped lace down the front. A lace bandeau released her veil of illusion. She carried a white orchid surrounded by pink roses. The couple was unattended. The newlyweds are spending their honeymoon enroute to Hawaii where they will make a future home. Mr. Morrill is stationed at llickam Field with the U. S. Navy. The bride is a former student of Weber College and Brigham Young She has fulfilled an University. LDS mission to northern California. Her bridegroom attended BYU and the University of Hawaii. (Olean) Farmington-M- rs. Rice will be honored by her fam ily at her home, Sunday, May 5, when she will observe her 85th birthday. Mrs. Rice was born in Farm- ington, Utah, May Ji, 172. a daughter of James T. Smith and Cecelial Christensen. She was married to the late David L. Rice September 3, 1S5H, in the Logan LDS Temple. They spent their entire married life in Farmington. She is the mother of 11 children, of whom are living. She also has and 13 great2 grandchildren grandchildren. Mrs. Rice has been a prominent figure in political, civic and church affairs of Davis County for many years, having served as Davis County Democratic vice, chairman for 23 years, working with the late John G.
