The program will begin at 8:15 p. m. and will Include a concert by the orchestra and choruses under the direction of Mr. John L. Stacey. Also, the schools traveling assembly, which has been presented to many other schools, will be given. Each of the thirty clubs or departments will display their work from 0:15 to 10:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served under the direction of Miss Beverly McCray, home economic instructor. Serving of this event are as Mr. Parley Thorderson and Mr. Marvin Blanken, teachers, at Davis. The groups which will participate in the exhibit include agricultural department and FFA, arts and crafts, auto shop, aviation, biology, business education, chemistry and physics, clothing, counseling and guidance, Dance Club, drivers education, English, foods and cooking, German, Girls Association, girls physical education, history, library, Masque and Gavel, mathematics modern languages, music, physiology, play production, speech, publications, radio, Rifle Club, student Body, woodwork and mechanical drawing, and yearbook. The ares is open from 9 a. m. till 1 p. m. on Tuesday and Thursday and all Saturday, Layton City, in cooperation with Davis County, operates a pit on the Hill Field Road just west of U. S. Highway 89. This is open at all times with a caretaker on duty to direct the placement of garbage. The Clearfield City pit, located north of the Hill Field Road and east of Hill Air Force Baa is open for public use each day of the week. Syracuse maintains a pit which is open to the public each day. It is located southwest of the city. Davis County maintains a community pit west of Ointon where county residents may gain accesa between 9 a. m. and 6 p. ml each day of the week. A man is on duty to assist in using this area. Taxpayers who are consistently dumping refuse in improper places are forcing the cities and county to spend money unnecessary for the removal of the garbage. "At, the designated disposal areas, the waste materials are properly disposed of, but roadside dumps are creating a serious program throughout the county," Ward Wamock, county sanitarian - said.
