Monday this week men from the First ward assisted in moving the furnishings, from the old building to the new chapel. These included the piano, and benches and choir seats. The First ward Primary held sessions for the last time in the old building this week. It was only partly furnished and to the children seemed a gay occasion. However, to the teachers and officers brought its feeling of sadness to be leaving this old building with its memories. However that new building looks mighty fine to all tha members and will ba a joy to I work in. A surprise party was held in honor of Mrs. Nellie Underwool this week. To celebrato her birthday on February 16. Mrs. Eldon Pace served as one of the hostesses and it was held ather home. Mrs. Rachel Larson conducted the guests atgames. Twenty-thre- e tended and enjoyed the fun as well as the ice cream and birthday cake. Mrs. Underwood received many nice gifts. Tha whole affair was a complete surprise to her. The Relief society program originally scheduled for the coming Sunday has been tentative set up for March 13 due to the announcing of new bishoprics and dividing of First ward next Sunday night Mrs. Nellie Gold and her four children spent the holiday week end at tha home of her mother Mrs. T. L. White. They also visited at tho Kendall Sedgwick residence and the A. T. Whit residence.
