Mr. Lee Liston, youth chairman, summed up youth acli-- , vilies which have been conducted during the summer under the direction of Melvin Manning. A vote of thank waa extended to Mrs. Alan B. Blood, Mrs. Keith Barnes and Mary Stewart for their assistance in directing swimming classes held this summer at Lagoon in cooperation with the Red Cross and directed by Melvin Maiming. Harry Duckworth, member-at-larg- e and manager of Fairway market, offered use of the lighted parking area near the market for night activities and Is to report at a later date on other areas that could be used. The youths tried to enter tho resort without paying admission and in doing so struck a car belonging to Vernon Wells, Weat Point When ho attempted to top them tho duo tried to run him down.
