A. was held Tuesday evening: A short program con sisting of the following preceded the dance: Scriptural reading by Theme. by Miss Neth Hansen. I. Misses Janice Gailey. Short ise Cook. Halloween skit by the Gleaner Girls and M Men. Gay autumn Halloween ' decorations, leaves and booths full of good things to eat decorated the amusement hall where a large crowd of young and old enjoyed an evening of entertainment During intermission the Gleaner Girls in gay costumes lounging on piles of hay sang the song, Shine On Harvest Moon. with little Miss Beverly Bodily and Miss Pamela Wilcox acting as the lovers of the song. Prizes for the outstanding Halloween costumes were won by Miss Barbara Hampton, first; William Campbell, second, and Miss Dawna Holt, third. Prizes for the best, carved pumpkin went to Allan Smedley and Francis Wiggill. Mr A Mrs A. II. Harmstron of Roosevelt visited last Friday with their I daughter-in-la- and grand- w child, Mrs. Winnefred Cook Harmstron and little daughter. Mr &,Mrs Oliver Baird of Clearfield entertained at their "home last Friday evening with a family gathering honoring Miss Donna Bodily of Syracuse.
