The new auditorium has had the desired effect on the teaching of the student to appear before the public. Davis high school students have acquitted themselves above the average in pulTc speaking contests, and have won divisional honors as well ns state honors. The new gymnasium, which is as. complete and spacious as any high school gymnasium, has turned out ath- letes as weir as having kept all the students physically fit for their work. .This year Davis did exceptionally well in all lines of athletic competition. There seems now to be a greater incentive to go to school at Davis than there has been in the past. This is reflected in the increased enrollment this year over last and a less number of withdrawals during the year. The graduation class of 1929 Is fortunate in having an auditorium large enough in which to hold the exercises next Monday. It is fortunate also in being honored by the pressence of Dr. for the occasion. Dr. Bennion knows Adam S.
